Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center Philosophy
At Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery we are committed to taking our clients from a belief that they are hopeless victims to a realization that through accountability, honesty and action, they will free themselves of their own bondage and live a life of great victory.
Areas of Specialization
Alumni Services/Family Program
At Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center we recognize the importance of including family members and loved ones in your treatment. Family sessions are held to re-establish weakened family bonds by helping family members understand your illness, treatment, and plans for the future.
Upon discharge we make sure you already have a scheduled referral to an outpatient counseling program, appointment time and contact person. If it has been decided that the best option for you is extended care programs, our staff investigates potential placements and facilitates your transfer to your new program prior to discharge.
Each morning consists of early morning meditation followed by a variety of different groups that focus on issues such as relapse prevention and recovery skills. Relapse prevention groups are held every day in the morning for an hour and are followed by another hour long group.
In addition to standard therapeutic approaches we use various types of non-traditional options to add to your recovery experience, such as Spirituality Therapy.
At Blue Ridge we attempt to make our detox process as painless as possible, using your substance abuse history to determine the safest and easiest way to accomplish this task.

At first I honestly didn't realize that this was a "forever" deal. I just knew I needed the help as soon as possible. I had good and bad times at the treatment center but in reality they were all for my benefit. The experience was very humbling and I truly believe that it all happened for a reason. I owe Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery my life.Megan B.
I went through Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery 6 months ago. It saved my life. The program itself taught me not only how to stop drinking but also how to love myself again. I had lost touch with my Higher Power years ago but never realized it. I am so blessed to have been able to go through this program.Gretchen T.
Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center is a great place to begin the recovery process. I got the help and special attention I needed to identify what I needed to do to begin my recovery from addiction. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center to anyone who is seeking help from substance abuse.Nick F.
