Circle of Trust Healing Center Philosophy
The Circle of Trust Healing Center is a second-level alcohol, drug, and trauma rehabilitation and cleansing center. We understand that for one to heal completely from addictions and trauma, they first must have access to a safe, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere completely removed from the many demands of their daily lives. We can become used to seeing to the needs of everyone except ourselves, so when a client walks through the doors of the Circle of Trust Center, they know this time is for them alone. Our responsive and specialized staff see to our client’s individual needs to release, to recover, and to regenerate their body, mind, spirit, and emotions.
Areas of Specialization
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
Creative Arts Therapy
Writing, making art or engaging in theater can be deeply therapeutic for people working to recover from addiction. Many facilities offer one or several forms of creative arts therapy as a way to help patients learn to express their feelings in productive ways.

ABOUT CIRCLE OF TRUST HEALING CENTER
Overlooking the Rogue Valley in southwestern Oregon is Circle of Trust Healing Center, a substance and trauma recovery center. Offering various holistic detoxification programs and individualized treatment plans built around integrative, one-on-one, and group therapies, this nature-centric facility takes a psycho-spiritual approach in restoring mind, body, and spirit.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
A product of three decades of development, the Circle of Trust Recovery Model is a 12-step exploration that is comparable to A.A. 12-Step and SMART Recovery programs, but also has a holistic approach to it. Clients are paired up with advocates, who help develop and manage their treatment plans, while master’s level therapists provide daily one-on-one guidance and bi-weekly Skype calls. In tandem with the Circle of Trust Recovery Model, clients partake in an assortment of naturopathic, psychological, and integrative therapies, including acupuncture, biofeedback, creative expressions therapy, and yoga.
The center’s holistic detox is a 30, 60 or 90-day program where clients cleanse their body from toxic residues through various treatments such as colonics, hydrotherapy, exercise, or nutrition plans. A family unit assessment and diagnosis is also readily available.
Prior to graduation, clients are expected to make “readiness to leave treatment” presentations to staff and other clients. Alumni are assigned a mentor and buddy for follow-ups and aftercare planning, as the center maintains a close-knit community, opening its doors regularly for celebration meals and other events.
Circle of Trust Healing Center’s director and founder is a certified therapist and practitioner of holistic somatic-oriented counseling for over 30 years. The center has a small staff of certified, master’s level counselors, some of whom have prior experience working with addiction and Spanish-speaking individuals.
A gourmet chef prepares meals daily, and special dietary requests must be noted during the intake process to be accommodated.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Residents at Circle of Trust Healing Center are surrounded by nature and farmland. Offering sweeping views of the nearby city of Ashland and Oregon’s mountain ranges, the private, 140-acre campus maintains the rustic and open architecture of the former church ranch, with wood paneling lining its ceilings and indigenous art covering its walls. There’s a two-story glass greenhouse, nearby lavender gardens, and a 5,000-square foot barn with stables for equine therapy. In addition, the center makes use of geothermal, solar, and wind energy to generate heat throughout the building.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
The two clients polled by Rehabs.com to date gave positive feedback. During their eight-week stay, alum T.A. considered the center’s “beautiful, calm, and nurturing atmosphere” ideal for helping clients focus intently on their recovery “without the distractions of everyday life.” James, the other alum, called the facility’s therapists “really caring excellent people,” telling others: “Listen to the therapist in group therapy she does amazing trauma work. I am a man of high standards. I would choose Circle of trust over again. You will not be disappointed.”
WHAT STAFF SAY
In addition to sharing perfect five-star ratings for the center’s treatment effectiveness, accommodations, and meals, three staff members each commented at length about what exactly makes this recovery program so unique.
“The strengths of the Circle of Trust Healing Center are endless,” wrote N.B., a staff member. “They take a personalized approach to each client, spending the time to [assess] the needs of individual clients. Their holistic approach goes above and beyond...”
While A.J. considered the center “ideal for people in recovery to take seriously the steps to health which require self-introspection, quiet, and dedication,” J.B., the third reviewer, celebrated the center’s “unmatched” staff-to-client ratios, its “ubiquitously client-centered” approach,” and, addressing those coming from afar, the region’s “fresh air and comfortable, dry weather.” “Needless to say, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” J.B. claimed.
There is no information provided by the center regarding its treatment costs, yet it does accept most major insurances and early speculation estimated the recovery program would charge “more than $30,000 for a month’s stay.”
