I can’t speak for this facilities’ ability to heal and help individuals, however, the organizational aspect was a major disappointment. We waited a week from our first call to them before there were any beds available and when we were finally able to schedule in, I called a couple days prior to confirm the admission date, all was good. THE DAY OF, I called yet again just to be safe and they confirmed AGAIN just to call us back about fifteen minutes later saying “I’m sorry, there’s no trace to show you’re loved one should be admitted today, we are full” AFTER they had already taken the insurance, pre-assessment AND confirmed with us more than once. Keeping in mind all of this took place after my loved one had already taken off work, informed the family, and packed. I would not be half as upset if we hadn’t called so many times to confirm and it’s very clear that whoever confirmed just assumed it was in the system and sent us on our way. It’s not just a minor screw up, some of these situations with people trying to find help are life/death, we waited an entire week to get into this specific facility because we had heard such good things. With that said, TO the admissions office at Just Believe- please be more cautious and efficient because this week YOU, as a facility, negatively impacted an individuals sobriety because of your lack of care and dedication, this should NOT have happened.
