I went through Just Believe recovery center in Carbondale Pennsylvania just a little over nine months ago. After overdoses and just a life of misery it was time I got help me. Help came in the form of Just Believe recovery. I walked through the doors with $1,000 day habit not knowing what I was going to do. The staff were amazing. As well as being in the inpatient program I also put afforded the opportunity to be part of the ethos program. Just believe allowed me to have another lease on life. One shoe review just doesn\'t say enough about this program stream my life is totally different today as a result of me attending this program.

I was a mess in life and emotionally bankrupt. I had to find a better way to live ot else death was the only thing i would know. I didn\'t know if any rehab could help mr but I gave it only last try I wanted to live life and I found that at Just Believe Recovery Center. It wasn\'t yhe building that got me sober it was the prople that worked with me. They showed me love even though i hated myself. They comforted me when I couldn\'t find something within me to comfortable. I was taught to live life not just exist. And was given the start of a foundation that i could build upon in the world outside those doors. I was able to help the little girl inside of me get through those hardships I have always know so I can be an adult not always running and hiding when things got tough. I could imagine what life would be like now if I hadn\'t done whatever it took to be better then the addiction that controlled my every move. I am now 7 and a half months sober and still playing in my mind the things i was taught in JBRC. I needed to live and they showed me how.

I can’t speak for this facilities’ ability to heal and help individuals, however, the organizational aspect was a major disappointment. We waited a week from our first call to them before there were any beds available and when we were finally able to schedule in, I called a couple days prior to confirm the admission date, all was good. THE DAY OF, I called yet again just to be safe and they confirmed AGAIN just to call us back about fifteen minutes later saying “I’m sorry, there’s no trace to show you’re loved one should be admitted today, we are full” AFTER they had already taken the insurance, pre-assessment AND confirmed with us more than once. Keeping in mind all of this took place after my loved one had already taken off work, informed the family, and packed. I would not be half as upset if we hadn’t called so many times to confirm and it’s very clear that whoever confirmed just assumed it was in the system and sent us on our way. It’s not just a minor screw up, some of these situations with people trying to find help are life/death, we waited an entire week to get into this specific facility because we had heard such good things. With that said, TO the admissions office at Just Believe- please be more cautious and efficient because this week YOU, as a facility, negatively impacted an individuals sobriety because of your lack of care and dedication, this should NOT have happened.
