ABOUT OMAHA CAMPUS FOR HOPE
As part of the nonprofit organization Catholic Charities, the Omaha Campus for Hope in Omaha, Neb. provides a spectrum of services for adults, both men and women, with specialized care for those who have been marginalized by society. According to their website, the facility admits up to 4,000 clients per year for chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. Services offered at this location include 24-hour emergency detoxification and short and long-term residential treatment at four different levels, with one level specific to men. This organization has three other locations in and around Omaha that provide addiction and recovery services, including one that serves adolescents.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Utilizing a client-focused philosophy, treatment programs are highly structured and include group and individual counseling. Although primary programming does not include the 12-step recovery model, clients are encouraged to participate in a self-help fellowship as an adjunct therapy. The long-term (average of one year) residential program for men and women includes thirty hours a week of treatment and monitoring programming.
The Omaha Campus for Hope’s Family Resiliency workshops also provide addiction education and support to loved ones. Upon completion of the facility’s residential program, clients may take advantage of the organization’s support services, including skills training programs and referrals to community-based services.
