Our main focus is on the private needs of each individual client, modifying a unique track of holistic & adventure-based treatment to maximize personal experience. Palm Beach Recovery Group focuses on the recovery of the entire person - mind, body and spirit. From individual therapy treatments that can heal the mind, to nutritional classes, to adventure groups and yoga sessions that can cater to the body and soul, Palm Beach Recovery Group's expert staff will work hard to help each of its patients discover the root of their addiction issues as well as teach them the most promising of natural coping mechanisms.
Areas of Specialization
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

ABOUT PALM BEACH RECOVERY GROUP
Palm Beach Recovery is a nationwide network with a main location in Lake Worth, Fla. The rehabilitation center treats men and women struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorder. Both a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) program are available.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment at this rehab combines motivational outdoor activities with holistic treatment. Clients benefit from a both an adventure-based program and the abstinence model of recovery (also known as 12-Steps). Outdoor activities may include a ropes course, hiking, equine therapy, and fun both in and on the ocean.
Residents in PHP attend weekly one-on-one sessions and five hours of daily group therapy. Clients also have access to regular medical and psychiatric evaluations, natural treatment for pain, anxiety, and depression, as well as yoga classes, nutritional counseling, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). There is also meditation each morning and 12-step meetings each evening.
Supplemental recovery tools may include sauna therapy, chiropractor visits, massage, and acupuncture as needed. Clients may also utilize music and art therapy as well as focus groups about impulse control, building relationships, trauma, anger management, and relapse prevention.
Once clients complete the residential track, they are encouraged to continue treatment with IOP services. The program is designed to be a step down from a supervised program or a more flexible option for those who cannot get away from home long-term. Clients must attend school, work, or volunteer while developing and practicing habits of sober living. Some transition to sober living homes, but regardless attend at least three sessions per week, or about nine hours. Staff perform regular drug screenings and offer employment aid.
Palm Beach Recovery employs both a clinical director and a medical director as well as master's level therapists and case managers.
