Recover Integrity Philosophy
Recover Integrity is an exclusive extended care treatment center for men. We are a boutique community program, providing high-quality group work, multiple individual sessions, and a theory based approach to recovery. Areas of Specialization
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly specific, research-validated form of therapy that can help people overcome traumatic stress, anxiety and depression. With EMDR, a trained practitioner uses bilateral stimulation, eye movement and touch to stimulate parts of the brain as a patient recounts certain experiences and memories as a way to more thoroughly process uncomfortable, painful feelings.
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.
I went my whole life thinking no one would ever understand me, within my second session, I learned more about myself and felt more seen than in all of my 35 years. I didn't know what gratitude was before I got here. Now all I can say is that I'm grateful.
Yeshaia and Adam saved my life!
My son's kidney's were failing from an overdose. He went directly from the hospital to Recover Integrity. This wasn't our first time sending him to treatment. But it was the last. Yeshaia and Adam helped my son to recover the beautiful boy he once was and helped him grow into the man I thought he might never become. Words can't express what it means to have our son back. I can only say thank you. If you ever experience the pain that our family went through, call Adam or Yeshaia, there is no better resource out there.
I was ready to come to treatment and get sober. What I didn't expect is all the good friends and mentors I've met along the way. Recover Integrity is a community in the true sense of the word. Warm, welcoming and real. I thank you!
Recover Integrity, the staff and the residents welcomed me and created a safe space for me to recover in. I'm forever grateful for the help they gave me. 6 months sober and going strong. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
I've been to many programs trying to get sober and kept relapsing. I found Recover Integrity and they got to my underlying issues allowing me to see how I kept self sabotaging.

ABOUT RECOVER INTEGRITY
Located in Los Angeles, Recover Integrity offers long-term “boutique” treatment for men struggling with addiction, consisting of outpatient programming with optional sober-living facilities.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Recover Integrity has developed a proprietary diagnostic tool called the D.I.P. — the Developmental Integrity Profile. The D.I.P. involves an initial assessment before treatment begins, and a follow-up assessment 45 days into treatment to assess progress and recalibrate treatment.
Most clients start off in full-day programming, and stay in the center’s sober-living facilities. Treatment is broken into four phases, each of which lasts approximately 30 days. In phase one, individuals attend full-day treatment and focus on safety, acclimatization, developing routines, and bonding with the community. Phase two, which can be attended as a full-day or half-day course, focuses on developing a recovery identity, finding a sponsor, and working the steps or an alternative pathway. In phase three, treatment hours taper further, and clients begin to work or pursue larger life goals. In phase four, clients work a minimum of 30 hours a week or attend school, can receive overnight passes, and consolidate what they’ve learned.
When they begin the program, clients participate in four group therapy sessions a day, and at least two individual therapy sessions a week. Also on the schedule are daily 12-step meetings or alternatives to 12-step meetings and a weekly neurofeedback session. If necessary, clients can also receive psychiatric monitoring and weekly psychiatric assessments. Holistic programming includes morning reflections and meditation, spiritual counseling, health and fitness groups, and gym visits. The center also provides vocational, educational, and transitional counseling.
Continuing care options include weekly individual and group therapy and urinalysis monitoring.
In the interests of maximizing efficiency and communication, the residential facilities and the treatment clinic share a staff.
According to the facility’s website, the team includes psychologists, psychiatrists, marriage and family therapists, spiritual counselors, interventionists, mindfulness meditation counselors, vocational counselors, and case managers.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The flagship residential facility, located in Brentwood, is a light-filled adobe-style villa with some single-occupancy suites, a pool, a private garden, a large dining room, and desks for studying. Lunch and dinner are prepared for residents.
Weekend outings include hiking, bowling, paddle-boarding, and trips to the movies.
WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY
All four of the reviews received by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing were very positive. Each of the reviewers gave the facility four or five stars in almost all of the 15 evaluated treatment metrics, including its overall effectiveness, holistic options, and treatment for co-occurring disorders. The four reviewers gave the facility lower ratings (of two stars and three stars) for the extent of its basis in the 12-Steps, indicating that step-work was not a primary focus of treatment.
Reviewers repeatedly praised the attentiveness of the treatment team and the program’s well-rounded nature. “Insight and technique of clinical team can tailor tx to any client. Treatment team is empathic and treats members with dignity,” D.B. wrote in a representative review.
In the only note of criticism, A.M. wrote that the program was not suitable for those struggling with severe dual diagnosis.
