This enables you to be in the best frame of mind to accept continuing treatment. Our 24/7 medical supervision, caring staff, and premium rooms with amenities provide a solid foundation for recovery.
Areas of Specialization
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
An opiate addict needs to seek professional and medical assistance before attempting to withdraw from the drug. A medical detoxification program offers the best hope for success for the person who wants to beat his addiction. Our reputable opiate detox program at Summit Detox offers the treatment that an opiate addict needs to beat addiction. We use only safe and comfortable detox protocols. The important thing to remember is the big picture: detox is the beginning of the process to have a life free from drugs.
A medical detoxification program offers the best hope for success for the person who wants to beat his addiction. We use only safe and comfortable detox protocols. Two of the most effective medicines used in the treatment of alcohol withdrawal are benzodiazepines and barbiturates, which should be used only under medical supervision. The Summit Detox medical staff is trained and experienced in the proper medical application of such drugs. We monitor our clients’ safety and comfort during this process, with a focus on the well-being of the client. The important thing to remember is the big picture: detox is the beginning of the process to have a life free from alcohol.
I have been to detox before, but Summit was the most comfortable I can imagine. Everyone was so caring, it was wonderful. I really felt respected and valued as a person. Thanks so much.
Everybody treated me with respect. They were all so positive that they kept me positive. I can’t describe how much the experience helped me.
When I first arrived there I was scared out of my mind, and didn’t know what to expect. You took care of me and helped me work through my fear. Thanks.
Summit was wonderful to me and also to my family. You made such a difference in our lives. Now I feel like I can move forward.

A couple negative reviews also appear online. On Google, Karen awarded just one star and noted poor communication about her son's condition. Additionally, the single reviewer on Yelp, Dan, left a rating of one out of five stars and wrote: "Unfortunately I've been to a couple detoxes this is by far the worst," citing unexperienced staff and trouble securing his personal items after rehab.
