Located in warm and sunny Delray Beach, Florida, Transformations provides luxury residential treatment for adult men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Programs extend from 30- to 90-days, and include dual diagnosis, holistic, secular and Christian-based recovery methods. There is an onsite detox facility for patients requiring medical attention before beginning treatment.
One-on-one counseling, group therapy and a focus on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are all key parts of Transformations’ individualized recovery program. Patients struggling with PTSD can participate in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), regarded throughout the industry as an effective method for uncovering and addressing the root cause of trauma and addiction. For people looking for faith-based recovery options, the center’s Christian track offers bible-guided counseling and guidance throughout the 12 steps.
Clients are housed in cozy and comfortable private rooms during inpatient treatment. Amenities abound, including queen-sized beds, full kitchens, TV and internet access, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, picnic area and tennis courts. Transformations also takes advantage of its location right next to the Florida coast, and both AA meetings and recreational activities often incorporate trips to the beach.
Reviews for Transformations are overwhelmingly positive, with many alumni reporting experiences that support the facility’s lofty name. Alumni J.K. told Rehabs.com: “After three other treatment centers I can honestly say Transformations is the best I have seen. Their aftercare is top notch.” An anonymous alumni wrote in to Rehabs.com and said: “Facility cleanliness is impeccable. Client-to-therapist ratio is small. Clients have many opportunities to customize their treatment plan to fit what they want. Everyone wants what is best for the client's recovery.”
Former patients have also shared their experiences at the facility on Google Reviews: “Transformations introduced me to Celebrate Recovery, which is a 12 step program about the biblical meanings of [A.A.]. Without Transformations and this program I would not be alive today!” - S.D.; “My husband and I came to Transformations together with a terrible drug problem over two years ago. This place help saved both our lives in so many ways. I can not thank Transformations and all the staff for everything they have done.” - H.C.
Transformations' staff is also highly regarded, as evidenced by this comment posted on YellowPages.com from Anonymous1579: “The techs here who guide you through your schedule (groups, meetings, appointments etc.) are available 24/7 and have each been where I was. I don't know where I would be without their love and patience. My medical and emotional needs were addressed as a client and I was treated with dignity at all times. The holistic chiropractor was amazing.”
The same reviewer also raved about the rehab’s accommodations: “The privacy and responsibility offered in the apartment setting was major for me and something that was not offered at other facilities I looked at. I would recommend Transformations to anyone.”
And family members have also seemingly had positive experiences, with parent G.W. sharing his own transformative experience on YellowPages.com: “My son spiraled out of control after my wife and I had our divorce. He began the out patient care immediately. Through the family therapy sessions and the individual therapy, the roots of the issue came out and were addressed. Now my son and I have the great relationship we had when he was younger.”
Transformations saved my life. I was struggling to find meaning in life but with help and motivation of my parents I decided to to finally given in and willingly go to treatment. I'm so glad I had the right support system and I can now say that I'm 2 years sober.
I relapsed for a few days, returned to aa and picked up a white chip. They have alumni meetings and I continued counseling with my individual therapist
After 3 other treatment centers I can honestly say Transformations is the best I have seen. Their after care is top notch!
Please ask questions and request in writing any issues you deem important on making your decision to attend this facility. Be aware there is no separation of age during transportation, our activities. You will be around the "young and restless" . Groups are seldom separated by age, and distractions abound. Phone restrictions are everyday, contrary what one may be told. Extraneous billing practices of lab testing. Inconsistent decision making as clinical level
Excellent treatment provided by supportive and genuinely caring staff and therapists in a safe and engaging environment.
Due to a service connected injury I had been to many previous rehabs acroos the nation. Upon removing a injury eye which caused years of pain and relaspe, I got freedom and learned how to live upon leaving this facility.
Great therapists who care about the patients. Management is horrible and only cares about the dollar.
Facility cleanliness is impeccable. Client to Therapist ratio is small. Clients have many opportunities to customize their treatment plan to fit what they want. Everyone wants what is best for the client's recovery
They have a wonderful staff, I just would like to see a program of skill learning classes to fill in between time one in a halfway house. I think my son needed to stay longer, like a year with more skill training.
