Transformations Treatment Center Philosophy

The Transformations program with residential community housing is a comprehensive addiction treatment and long term rehabilitation service for men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. When you enter your private room in a home like setting at Transformations, you will join a nurturing, supportive community of members we have come to call our ‘Florida Family’.

Meet the Staff

Dr. Harold Schwarz, M.D., P.A. Medical Director

Photo of Dr. Harold Schwarz, M.D., P.A. Dr. Schwarz is a prominent physician/psychiatrist in the South Palm Beach mental health community. Having attended school at Columbia University, Manilla University and New York University’s School of Medicine, Dr. Schwarz has focused on substance related disorders and mental health issues. Besides his position as medical director at Transformations Treatment Center, he is the Section Chief for the Psychiatry Department at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida (FL).

Dr. Maureen Esposito Clinical Director

Photo of Dr. Maureen Esposito Dr. Esposito is a Certified Addictions Professional, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has over 30 years of experience in the field of addiction. Maureen has operated her own private practice, taught counseling courses at Nova University in Davie, FL and has dedicated the last 18 years at Alternatives in Treatment, Boca Raton, FL, with 10 years as clinical director. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in N.Y. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a PhD degree in Family and Marriage counseling, both from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She has trained at the Hanley Hazelden facility in West Palm Beach, FL and holds a Certified Addictions Professional certificate. Maureen is married and has 2 sons and has lived in Florida for 40 years. Dr. Esposito brings great enthusiasm as well as leadership to Transformations, and her dedication in the field, her ability to work with a variety of clientele and her openness to new ideas encourages Transformations Therapy Staff to be the very best they can be.

Geoff Spillias Chief Executive Manager

Photo of Geoff Spillias Mr. Spillias earned two Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Interpersonal Communications from The University of Central Florida. Geoff came to work for Transformations in 2009, with extensive business experience from his previous endeavors, and he now oversees all company operations and decisions. His main motivation for joining Transformations was to help the seemingly hopeless recover from drug and alcohol addiction. He believes his professional and personal experience can help people transition into becoming productive members of society again. Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as watching sports. Geoff has a passion for this field and for spreading the message of recovery.
