Valley Hope Philosophy
Our Mission is to provide a quality continuum of comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment and related services, in a caring atmosphere and at a reasonable price, for all people experiencing problems with alcohol or other drug use. The purpose of providing those drug and alcohol rehab services is to improve the quality of life of those receiving services as measured by abstinence from alcohol and other substances, as well as by increased life satisfaction, improved family relationships, marital stability, job and career performance and financial stability. This Mission may be pursued in any geographic location, limited only by need and Valley Hope's ability to respond to that need.
Areas of Specialization
Residential/Inpatient Drug Rehab
Residential drug rehab is a structured level of care where the patient participates in different treatment modalities. A team of certified addiction counselors, chaplains, physicians, nurses and psychologists work together to meet the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of the individual. Patients receive more than 40 hours per week of active treatment therapy including individual counseling and pastoral sessions, marital, couple, family and group therapy. Patients also attend drug and alcohol rehab educational and 12-step orientation lectures and are active in local 12-step meetings. Room and board services are provided in our residential treatment centers. Our kitchen and dietary staff provides quality, home-style meals seven days per week.
Day Or Partial Care Drug Rehab
Valley Hope also provides day or partial care drug rehab for persons suffering from the disease of addiction. This level of care is offered seven days a week and allows the patient to maintain close contact with his or her support in the community and home setting.
Drug and Alcohol Rehab Medically Monitored Residential Detoxification
Medically monitored detoxification services are available at our residential drug rehab centers under the supervision of our consulting physician and professional nursing staff. Each patient is given a complete physical and a lab profile is obtained. A team of nurses provides 24-hour medical observation and assessment services. Medications to minimize withdrawal symptoms are used as part of our treatment regimen when necessary. If there are complications, the patient is referred to a local acute care hospital.
Family Drug And Alcohol Rehab Treatment Program
At the Valley Hope Association we believe that chemical dependency affects the entire family. Family members, and significant others (SO), often need help understanding the disease and what they can do to help themselves as well as the identified drug/alcohol rehab patient. We also believe that the chemically dependent person's best chance for successful recovery occurs when the family member or significant other is involved in the recovery process. We are here to help.
