This brief questionnaire will evaluate whether you may have an unhealthy methadone dependency. Methadone is itself an opioid pharmaceutical used for opioid maintenance therapy to help those recovering from addiction to heroin or prescription opiate painkillers. While this drug is intended to treat substance addiction, it is also sometimes used recreationally for its powerful effects, and it can be habit-forming. These questions are based on criteria of the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders” for opioid use disorder, which includes methadone use.
