Robin Livingston-Richter is an MSW, L.I.C.S.W with more than 25 years’ experience as a practicing family therapist. Robin worked intensely with adolescents and families struggling with suicidal ideation, ADHD, mood disregulation, parent/child conflicts, and school-related issues. She provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings including shelters, group homes, impatient community programs along with hospital settings and day treatment programs, working extensively with children, teenagers, and families. She also provided supervision to counselors and therapists working with young people facing dual diagnoses. Robin also spent a number of years in marketing and research at the National Institute on Media and the Family, studying and communicating the impact of media on children and specifically, girls.

On a personal note, Robin recovered from a 33-year battle with an eating disorder including bouts with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. She has ADHD, is married to a successful entrepreneur with ADHD, and is a parent to two amazing teenagers with ADHD.
