ABOUT A NEW FREEDOM SOBER LIVING

Located in northwest Houston, A new Freedom is a sober living home designed for men and women seeking to continue their recovery in a program based largely on the 12 Steps.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Other than being based on the 12 Steps, A New Freedom offers few additional details on its treatment program. A few rules are in place though: residents must attend the nightly meetings each Monday, Friday, and Sunday, adhere to random drug testing, and maintain sponsorship in the 12 Steps.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

There is currently no information provided by this facility regarding its treatment staff.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Per the facility’s webpage, clients are provided with “a clean, home environment.” Regular household amenities include internet, cable, and laundry machines.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Feedback is quite limited. The single alum to have completed a Rehabs.com survey to date claimed that “the staff knows how to do thing things the staff needs to do.” This alum also left ratings of four and five stars for the facility’s quality of meals, the staff’s level of training and experience, the family inclusion, and the treatment for co-occurring disorders.

FINANCING

Residents enrolled at A New Freedom pay $150 each week, in addition to a one-time deposit of $150. Both are due at intake.

Official Facility Response

Rehabs.com collects thousands of User Reviews weekly to collect the most up-to-date information possible on treatment facilities across the country. The opinions shared in User Reviews are expressly those of the user, and do not reflect the thoughts, beliefs, or opinions of Rehabs.com. Per our policies, we do not remove User Reviews at the request of a facility.

Treatment facilities can and are encouraged to respond directly to any User Review, positive or negative. In fact, visitors are more likely to favorably consider a facility that actively responds to criticism (and praise!) to one that doesn’t.

Please leave your Facility Response below using a verified facility-specific email address. A representative from Rehabs.com will vet your response within two business days to ensure it meets our standards for public posting. Rehabs.com retains the right to contact anyone who leaves a review via our website to confirm authenticity.

As always, thank you for your feedback, and for your willingness to work with us as we move forward in developing the most comprehensive and trusted rehab reviews and listings platform.
