ABC Recovery Center provides a complete continuum of care for people who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. ABC offers high quality, personal treatment plans that are both effective and financially accessible. ABC’s programs – based on 12-step principles – are offered in a social, peer-oriented setting. ABC Recovery Center is licensed and certified by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. ABC’s professional staff and counselors have treated thousands of alcoholics and addicts, helping them achieve long-term sobriety and return to their families and communities as healthy and responsible individuals. ABC Recovery Center has been treating individuals with substance abuse problems for almost 50 years, and is committed to the lasting wellness of all clients.
Areas of Specialization
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
