WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Of the two alumni reviews submitted to Rehabs.com to date, both indicated that the program fell short of its goals. One alum gave the program mostly three out of five stars in categories such as accommodations and amenities, cleanliness, affordability, counseling options, and whether treatment was worth the cost. They did however offer four-star ratings to connectivity, family participation, and treatment of co-occurring disorders. The other alum gave the program mostly one out of five star ratings, with a positive four-star rating for support received from staff. Both respondents agreed the staff’s support and level of training and experience was a sole strength.

Reviews on third party sites were far more positive. On Facebook, where the facility may have the ability to manage it's own page, it has received an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars from 19 reviewers to date.[1] Alum Victor wrote: “I think that your organization is doing a greatjob for the city.” On the other hand, Daisy gave just one star and wrote: "I don't know about the overall program, but the methadone clinic is horrible," noting high costs and disrespect from staff members and weaknesses.

On Google, the facility earned 4.8 out of five stars from four reviews.[2] Robert wrote: “Been sober for 2 1/2 years. Could not have done it without them. Thank you.”

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

Two of the three loved ones gave five out of five stars for affordability, accommodations, and cleanliness."They were not compassionate or individualized in their treatment" wrote an anonymous loved one. The councilors are great. They actually have conversations and discussion groups at certain times of the day, the one-on one councilor listens and helps you maintain sobriety with a plan that is made just for me. The food is great, they have cooks that come in and prepare the meals. They are connected to AA and NA so we go outside the facility for groups. I have been sober since 2007.Aliviane helped me get my life back on track. I voluntarily went to Aliviane for help with my drug addiction. I wasn't judged for being an addict, I was taken seriously and treated as a person. Aliviane is affordable and the staff and councilors are great.

Personel was a strength. Sometimes too many people, which was a weakness. More One on one.

It has people who are from the community and know how to most effectively interact with people from the community. It was a bit over capacity so there was less one to one attention than is probably required to get the most help. Since I was very little my father has been in and out of treatment facilities and most of the time it has been Aliviane. I am not sure if it has been because their treatment is ineffective or my dad just liked drugs so much but to his dying day he could never completely kick his dependence on drugs.
