Areas of Specialization
Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
My daughter needed to go to treatment and only had the clothes on her back. CareForward took care of everything for her, they went above anything we could have hoped for. All the panic that you go through as a parent… they treated my daughter like I would, like she was a member of their family. It was amazing.” Read more at: http://care-forward.com/beverly-hills-ca-rehab-treatment-success-stories/

She believes that the goal of psychotherapy is to reveal the client’s biological and environmental causes for current symptoms and to develop new coping skills for living. In her view, psychotherapy has the potential to assist clients in changing their attitudes toward life, which directly effects how they respond to the world around them. She invites you to discover the beauty found within.

ABOUT CAREFORWARD HEALTH
Located in the famously upscale community of Beverly Hills, Calif., CareForward Health is a luxury treatment center that provides outpatient treatment for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Offerings include standard outpatient (OP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP). Sober living accommodations are available through a partnering organization. Detox is not offered on-site, but staff can arrange for clients to access appropriate treatment at a nearby facility.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Most clients remain in treatment for a minimum of 30 days. During this time, they are provided with an individualized treatment plan that includes one-on-one counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and enrichment opportunities, like trips to the local museum. Staff utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including dialectical behavior therapy, art therapy, and improvisation. Specialized process groups cover topics like self-care, grief and loss, relapse prevention, and codependency, and others cater to members of the LGBT community.
Partial Hospitalization is the most structured and time-intensive treatment option, as it requires clients to attend sessions all day. Intensive outpatient and standard outpatient treatment, which may be used as step-down options, are partial-day programs that allow for more flexibility.
According to its website, CareForward Health employs a qualified team of addiction specialists.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Through partnerships with sober living homes, clients have the option to stay in upscale living facilities, which are monitored by an on-site supervisory staff. The facilities can accommodate up to 70 clients in total. Residents are provided with daily catered lunches and dinners. Some homes are equipped with swimming pools and scenic views, and clients have access to fitness facilities and transportation.
