Liberty Hall is Cazenovia Recovery Systems’ Community Residence Program designed specifically for male veterans with a substance use disorder who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Located on the grounds of the Batavia, NY Veterans Administration Medical Center, the program provides a range of residential addiction treatment services that include daily life skills education, individual and group therapy, trauma-informed treatment, case management, vocational services, community integration, individualized planning and more. Relapse prevention and self-help are emphasized to empower clients to achieve lifelong sobriety.

ABOUT CAZENOVIA RECOVERY SYSTEMS - LIBERTY HALL
Cazenovia is a private nonprofit that provides residential services at a variety of locations in New York State for individuals who are struggling with problematic substance use and/or mental health disorders, and are at risk of homelessness. In addition to treatment services, the agency provides housing with varying levels of support, from intensive residential units to transitional housing.
Liberty Hall, located on the grounds of the Batavia VA Medical Center in northwestern New York State, is a community residence for male veterans struggling with substance use disorder who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, according to HUD standards. Under Cazenovia's definition, a "community residence program" offers highly structured care while allowing residents to hold a job. Treatment is slightly more intensive than a traditional transitional-living facility.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The program offers 24-hour staff supervision and programming that's integrated with Veterans Administration medical services.
Liberty Hall offers trauma-informed support, in the context of individual and group counseling provided by both VA and Cazenovia staff. There are also on-site self-help meetings, though the facility's website does not at present specify whether these follow the 12-Steps or another program. In addition, the program provides vocational services, links to employment readiness programs, and training in daily living skills, stressing the importance of helping its clients to achieve independence. Subsidized housing is available for qualifying clients.
For those struggling with co-occurring mental health disorders, mental health counseling can be provided either on- or off-site.

They are about getting money from the government and keeping them sedated they are very rude when loved ones call," A.M. wrote.
However, Cazenovia as a whole had a Cazenovia Recovery Systems as a whole had a 4.2-star average rating based on 29 reviews on Facebook at the time of this writing, though it should be noted that the facility can manage its own Facebook page.[2] Several of the comments left on the Facebook page were from staff members: "This is a great company to work for. They help many people and keep there staff trained to be able to deal with a variety of people," C.S.D. wrote in a representative review. Two further comments described Cazenovia's services as life-changing: "They helped save my life on a daily basis," R.R. wrote in a representative review.
FINANCING
Cazenovia accepts health insurance, private pay, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability, and Department of Social Services payments. At Liberty Hall, treatment is also funded by the VA.
