Community Recovery Resources (CoRR) is a non-profit organization that provides a range of outpatient-based treatment services for adults, adolescents, and families of Northern California struggling with chemical dependency. One of six facilities operated by CoRR, the Roseville Campus of Roseville, Calif., 19 miles northeast of Sacramento, offers adult outpatient programs, an adolescent treatment program, a specialized program for mothers in recovery, and educational classes for DUI offenders.

Before beginning treatment, clients may participate in an initial substance abuse assessment to identify individual concerns. Court-ordered assessments are also available for DUI offenders to determine an appropriate length and frequency of treatment. Depending on the assessment, the Roseville campus offers three, six, nine, 12, and 18-month programs for DUI offenders. To treat its clients, CoRR combines evidence-based treatment methods with 12-step involvement.

The outpatient program for DUI offenders includes one-on-one counseling sessions, group therapy, and educational classes. The program covers the physical and mental effects of alcohol and/or drugs, DUI laws, the risks of drunk driving, various theories of addiction, and implementing techniques to prevent another DUI. DUI classes are held in the morning and evenings to accommodate client schedules.

Roseville Campus' outpatient program can last for up to one year, depending on the needs of the client. Each program curriculum is tailored to each client. Along with educational classes and group counseling sessions, the facility offers a number of ancillary services, including parenting classes, smoking cessation, and anger management. Roseville Campus also offers Full Circle, an outpatient program for adolescents and parents. Lasting for up to one year, Full Circle involves substance abuse education and counseling for adolescents, as well as educational classes for parents. Family counseling may also be incorporated into programming.

Mothers in Recovery is an intensive outpatient program specifically designed for mothers struggling with chemical dependency. Clients participate in individual and group counseling sessions that focus on their role as a mother, helping clients to develop problem-solving and assertion skills. In addition, clients are required to attend regular 12-step meetings and subject to toxicology testing. The Roseville campus offers childcare and child development services, and food planning and preparation classes are available.

CoRR's Roseville Campus employs a multidisciplinary team comprised of certified drug and alcohol counselors, licensed therapists, and medical staff.
