Located in Atlanta, Ga., Covenant Community, Inc. is one of the state's 130 (44.5 percent) residential life-stabilization programs for adult men struggling with substance abuse. Founded in 1990, the program specifically helps homeless men achieve sobriety and lead productive lives. The treatment program is highly structured and includes individual counseling, group therapy, counseling on money management, and ongoing medical evaluations and referrals. Clients must submit to random drug tests and attend four 12-step meetings a week.
