Serving southeast Colorado, Crossroads’ Turning Points (CTP) offers a full continuum of services for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. In operation for more than 30 years, the organization’s locations in Pueblo provide residential and outpatient treatment, DUI programming, and detoxification services for women, including those who are pregnant or postnatal, and adolescents between ages 12 and 21.

There are several programs at CTP for women struggling with substance use. The Baltimore Avenue location offers a five- to nine- month residential program called STAR-TC, which is a peer run program for woman of any background, including age, race, and sexual orientation. This same location also offers STIRRT, which is an intensive, 14-day residential program for women struggling with recovery and probation rules. Case management and nine months of outpatient continuing care are required after the residential period.

The Baltimore Avenue location in Pueblo also offers a 30-day women's residential program for those unable to recover on their own. Clients develop coping and life skills while building relationships as well as general health. Following residential, clients may step down to an intensive outpatient (IOP) program that requires nine or more hours of counseling each week, or to more generalized outpatient counseling that consists of just one session per week.

An additional location in Pueblo, on Bonforte Boulevard, provides special corrections services to pregnant women who are at risk of relapsing. The program aims to promote healthy lifestyles and keep families together.

This same location is also where adolescent treatment takes place. The IOP for youth consists of nine to 16 hours of counseling over four to six weeks while the general program only requires up to three hours each week for 12 weeks. Specific tracks focus on anger management, dual-diagnosis, relapse prevention, and Seeking Safety, a recovery model that helps children deal with triggers and navigate relationships.

Other services available at Crossroads’ Turning Points, Inc. include DUI programs, remediation treatment for individuals on parole or probation, and methadone maintenance treatment.

You're not locked in, you can leave anytime you wish. They dont have yoga classes or anything but they do have a high school track not far away they take you to for exercise. They also take you to meetings at other facilities. You have to want it. The progarm worked for me. I thought the people were great.

Although Crossroads is a court mandated program the treatment program was very effective and provides a person with a vast number of skills and tools needed in daily living to remain drug and alcohol free.
