Throughout treatment, clients receive individual, group, and family therapy. Cypress Creek Hospital’s adult offerings include an intensive care unit, a residential hospitalization program, and a specialized dual diagnosis care unit. For adults who do not require overnight care, the facility offers day treatment through their partial hospitalization program and evening treatment through an intensive outpatient program. The facility also offers electroconvulsive therapy and chemical dependency services. Participants may receive medication when necessary throughout their treatment, and families are included in programming through counseling sessions and ongoing support groups.
Treatment in the adolescent program involves individual, group, and family therapy, as well as addiction education and therapeutic recreation. Treatment tracks offered include residential inpatient care, day treatment, and chemical dependency care. Parents of adolescent clients are included in treatment through parent’s education classes and parent support group meetings.

Clients at this facility are not allowed the use of cell phones or other corded devices, including hair dryers. Residents are prohibited from bringing razors, glass, mirrors, wire, or metal to the facility, and female residents may not pack underwire bras.

The reviewer gave Cypress Creek Hospital excellent ratings across several categories, and said he would recommend it to others. The anonymous loved one gave the facility five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, five stars for accommodations and amenities, and five stars for meals and nutrition. He strongly agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, strongly agreed that the facility is adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems, and strongly agreed that facility staff are experienced and well-trained. He felt that a strength of the facility was the friendliness of staff. When asked about weaknesses of the facility, he stated that staff “sometimes neglect people in need.” He also added that “The staff operations are not up to par, but they are getting better."
On the facility’s Google page, there is an overall rating of 2.5 out of five stars based on 49 total reviews.  The reviews are divided, with many alum stating they had bad experiences, but several others expressed that they were happy with their time at Cypress Creek Hospital. Loved one P.I., who gave one star, expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment his wife received at the facility. He wrote “Would give zero stars if I could. My wife is currently in this terrible excuse for a hospital. The staff is rude. And the walls and cove base are filthy.” G.E., an alum, did not agree with that viewpoint. He gave five stars and wrote, “I can't put into words how much you all have helped me the better person that I am today thank you thank you thank you and God bless you all.”
