ABOUT DOOR TO HOPE WOMEN'S RECOVERY PROGRAM

Founded in 1971, Door to Hope provides a variety of treatment options to individuals struggling with mental health problems, substance use disorder, or dual diagnosis. The organization's recovery program for women, which is also known as "The Door" or the "Hayward Home," offers long-term residential treatment to adult women age 18 and older.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

All clients receive an initial assessment upon admission to determine the appropriate level of care.

Treatment at The Door is individualized and typically lasts three to six months. In addition to 12-step methodology, the program utilizes evidence-based practices such as the Matrix Model, motivational enhancement therapy, and trauma-informed Seeking Safety groups.

Clients participate in individual counseling and group therapy, as well as relapse prevention workshops, anger and stress management classes, and addiction education courses.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

According to the facility's website, the treatment team includes therapists, psychological counselors, and family and addiction counselors.

Set in a cozy Tudor-style house, the 14-bed facility provides residential with a home-like environment for recovery.
