ABOUT HAZELDEN BETTY FORD FOUNDATION - CENTER CITY
One of multiple treatment facilities in the U.S.operated by the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation facility of Center City, Minn. offers residential and outpatient treatment to adults struggling with substance abuse disorder and co-occurring disorders. The rehab is one of 21 facilities in Minnesota (just 5.9 percent of all non-hospital facilities in the state) to offer medical detoxification services on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon admission, clients participate in a comprehensive assessment to help clinicians form an individualized treatment plan. Hazelden’s programming blends evidence-based treatment with 12-step immersions and integrated mental health services, including medication management if needed.
During residential treatment, clients participate in individual and group counseling, addiction education lectures, and various life skills and relapse prevention workshops. There's also a specialized program for professionals.
Clients battling opioid addiction can take advantage of the reahb's medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services. In 2017, 6,440 individuals were receiving MAT in California, making up about 1.6 percent of individuals receiving MAT at a national level.
Outpatient options include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which is a modality available in just 12.6 percent of treatment facilities in the state.
Hazelden’s multidisciplinary staff is comprised of medical doctors, psychiatrists, and psychologists, as well as licensed alcohol and drug counselors, licensed social workers, licensed professional clinical counselors, and marriage and family therapists.
