Specialization

Medical Detoxification

Though not all rehab facilities offer “medical detoxification,” all people with an addiction to drugs or alcohol will experience intense physical and emotional changes and discomfort as their bodies react to withdrawal of the addictive substance. Many people use the term “detox” to refer to the period of time (ranging from a few days to a week) when the body is reacting to an addict’s decision to stop using.

Individualized Treatment

Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.

Michael Dadashi

Co-Founder & CEO

Our CEO Michael is the heart of Infinite Recovery. Clean and sober since 2009, Michael replaced his old attitudes with a new set of principles that motivated him to extend the same Life-saving second chances he had received to others struggling with addiction. He started by employing other recovering addicts at his e-waste recycling business, MHD Enterprises, which he has owned for more than a decade. Defying just about every possible conventional hiring practice, he grew MHD into an award-winning company. In 2014, Michael took his mission to help addicts rebuild their lives one step further by opening Infinite Recovery. His goal was to provide a full continuum of care by equipping clients with the tools and support necessary for a successful second chance at life. In 2017 with the help of his talented wife, Ylianna, we launched a medical detox and residential facility and realized Michael’s dream of providing a full continuum of care. Michael has the unique ability to bridge the gap between business and service to others. Michael supports various non-profit organizations such as Facing Addiction, Recovery People, Lifesteps, Austin Community College Foundation and serves on the board of Communities for Recovery and Teen and Family Services. Michael’s definition of success is to live life with complete purpose and passion for all he does both personally and professionally.

ABOUT INFINITE RECOVERY

Infinite Recovery is a 17-bed drug and alcohol detoxification center in Austin, Texas with residential and outpatient treatment and eight sober living homes.

Designed for individuals facing withdrawal issues, providing early stabilization solutions for needs as they arise, Infinite Recovery is one of just 36 (8.4 percent) of residential detoxification programs in the state of Texas; offering stays ranging from 30 up to 90 days, it’s one of just 94 (21.8 percent) of long-term options statewide.

Both 12-Step and evidence-based approaches are used here.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment at Infinite Recovery works by integrating 12-step practices with a combination of evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). While residential detox suits those experiencing withdrawal and other unpleasant consequences, outpatient care, on either partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) level, focuses on reintegrating back into school, work, or an existing job. All clients meet with trauma therapists and learn the Eight Dimensions of Wellness.

Beyond its traditional therapy setting, treatment incorporates weekly yoga and monthly yoga workshops, running and hiking, and holistic therapies involving pets, drama, music, and other creative arts. Seeing family involvement as a crucial component to healing, Infinite Recovery opens its doors up regularly for a three-day intensive workshop.

Upon program completion, alumni have access to up to six additional months of aftercare, which includes phone check-ins, opportunity to share their experience with others, and a Block Party the last Friday of each month.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

A board-certified psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience leads a team of master’s level clinicians and medical professionals, including a 24-hour nursing and psychiatric staff.

Infinite Recovery also has a professional interventionist on staff - a member of local recovery organizations - offering clients and families opportunity to rebuild relationships and build a “foundation to guide them on their journey.”

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Infinite Recovery is a 17-bed center; set on a three acre “urban retreat,” its designed to be quiet and distraction-free. Pictures published on the facility’s website show comfortable, fully outfitted homes with both private and semi-private rooms. Gluten free and vegan meal plans are also available upon request.

In addition to its detox program, according to its website, Infinite Recovery runs eight sober living homes in total: three for women and five for men. In these homes, clients sleep two to three per room.

REVIEWS

The nine individuals surveyed by Rehabs.com to date, all staff members, built a picture of a caring, team-oriented, proficient center with strong 12-Step and alumni programs. All nine gave five-star ratings for the effectiveness of the facility’s treatment services; “Infinite Recovery is [a] first rate facility, with staff members who are experts in substance abuse and mental health,” B.B. wrote in one representative review.

The only point of concern: “struggles with consistently being fully staffed.”

Secondary sites yield positive ratings with reviewers raving about overall treatment effectiveness and staff excellence. On the facility's Facebook page, which it can manage, Infinite Recovery has a near-perfect average rating of 4.8 out of five stars based on 86 reviews.[1] On Google, it has an average rating of 4.9 out of five stars based on 61 reviews.[2] On Yelp, Infinite Recovery has 12 five-star ratings and three one-star ratings. The negative reviewers noted the high cost of treatment and emphasis on the 12-Steps.[3] [4]

On Glassdoor, the center has an average rating of 4.1 out of five stars based on 10 reviews from staffers. Staff members complimented coworkers, management, and treatment methods, though many noted the fast-paced nature of the work.[5]

FINANCING

Infinite Recovery is one of just 271 (62.9 percent) of facilities statewide that accepts private health insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna, and Cigna.

Out of all of the short-term residential facilities I've worked at and been too personally, Infinite Recovery has been the best on by far. The level of intensive work paired with accountability that they do in such a short period of time is truly inspiring and life saving.
