Being a Primary Therapist is a passion of mine because I’ve seen the power behind Lumiere’s addiction treatment program and how it can positively change the lives of our clients. Part of my role is to help educate our clients and show them that building healthy relationships can become part of an environment that facilitates change, even beyond our walls here at Lumiere. And what really makes our addiction rehab center unique is we believe our commitment to our clients doesn’t stop when their treatment comes to an end, rather we view this as an opportunity for a new beginning and welcome them to the unity and support of our Alumni family.

An important part of my role at Lumiere is to create a positive and supportive environment for our clients during their recovery process. Seeing first-hand the destruction addiction can cause in the lives of some of my closest family and friends is one of the core reasons I have such a strong desire for helping others make a positive transformation today. Being able to provide hope to the hopeless is something that I’ll never take for granted and Lumiere is the perfect platform to make that possible every single day. 360 Guide

Lumiere Healing Centers is a private treatment center that treats adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Operating a recently opened, 60-bed facility in West Chester, Ohio, Lumiere provides luxury residential care, outpatient-based programs, and aftercare services. Medically supervised detoxification is also available on-site.

Upon admission, clients participate in an initial assessment to determine an appropriate level of care. Clients who require detoxification may be referred to the facility's residential program. Approaching addiction as both a biopsychosocial and spiritual disease, Lumiere's programming involves a combination of the 12-step model of recovery, holistic approaches, and evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Upon completion of the initial detoxification, if necessary, residents begin their recovery through individual and group therapy sessions, as well as psychoeducational lectures that cover a broad range of topics, including recovery coping skills, spirituality, communication and boundaries, and more.

Along with counseling and educational classes, residents are supported through various holistic and social opportunities, such as attending on- and off-site Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, cookouts, exercise classes, art therapy, and guided meditation sessions.

Family involvement is also considered to be a crucial components of the facility's programming. Family groups are typically arranged for Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoons. Upon completion of the residential program, clinicians may recommend clients utilize the facility's outpatient programs as a step-down continuum of care. The facility offers both a traditional and intensive outpatient program (IOP), depending on the needs of the client.

Program graduates are supported through extensive aftercare services that consist of weekly group meetings and bi-weekly individual therapy sessions. Additionally, alumni groups offer graduates ongoing support and social opportunities.

Led by a clinical director who is a Psy.D, Lumiere Healing Centers employs a team of licensed counselors and therapists who run the individual and group therapy sessions. The facility also employs physicians, a nursing staff, and behavioral health technicians.

The resort-style, lakeside facility overlooks a local golf club, and houses up to 60 clients at a time. Private and spacious double-occupancy bedrooms are available. Clients enjoy gym access and chef-prepared meals. Lumiere also facilitates regular excursions, which may include trips to museums in Cincinnati, bowling nights, and attending comedy clubs.

[2] Thirty-six of the reviews offered perfect five out of five-star ratings, and many reviewers also praised staff members.“ Most caring and dedicated people. I am so impressed with how much effort they put into helping me and how sincere all of the staff were,” Kate, a representative reviewer, wrote.

do NOT take your signifficant other here if you ever plan to be together again! the main focus of this rehab is to change people places & things and Most Definitly includes your partner! this is a co-ed facility. So your surrounded by counselors & peers that steady alter your way of thinking including seperation from your partner! they'll work around the clock to brainwash you into thinking your the problem, not the addict! we barrrrely stuck together after leaving this facility! they will brainwash your partner into leaving you and only gives you two 5 minute phone calls a week and its on speakerphone infront of a caseworker. i wanted my partner clean but now regret nothing more then taking her here!!! i repeat... do NOT take a signifficant other here!!!

They only care about charging for as much insurance $$ as they can. Not effective and gave too many Benzos which in turn negatively effects CBT. Do not recommend.

Clean and new with terrible care. Not enough medical staff, poor communication with family even when releases are signed by patient. Having had a loved one in several facilities in Ohio, I can say this is one of the worst. It Was expensive private pay when my loved one was there, and had many open beds and half the place was empty. I see they now accept Medicaid. Not surprised, that is the only way they can get patients.

I arrived at Lumiere in order to detox and my intake nurse stated that due to my condition, I would require the minimum days of detox (4-5 days). However, the medical director went above the intake nurse and changed my required days to 7 without speaking with me or anyone. It was clean and the food was fantastic. The upper level staff was nonexistent and did not answer any questions or let us know what was going on with our treatment. There were no activities, groups or treatment at all for anyone segregated on the detox side.

Awful experience. The groups don't address the patients' issues and the information given is all over the place. This place is a joke and was by far my worst rehabilitation experience. I would never recommend Lumiere to anyone.

When contacting the facility and explaining the situation we have been promised that coming into the Detox center will create a smooth transition from the addiction to clean with No Widthdrawal symptoms, all is INCLUDED in the price, you can pay extra for a single room if you wish, will keep you as long as needed and you’ll leave feeling better There will be a coach assign to you that will follow and spend time with you and all the good stuff. My partner was picked up and was driven to the facilty - upon arrival called me and let me know that he arrived He saw his coach once when arrived and never again until they day he left about a week later When arrived - they took all kinds of blood tests (that they obviously knew that they will have to do when told us that “all is included” and we got a separate Bill for the Blood tests (about $ 1 K extra) During his stay and due to a too fast (with no correlation to his Body weight, height etc ) procedure to wind him down - he got into a full Withdrawal with 103.2 fever his vitals went thru the roof but he was sent to his room with no one to check on him - it got so bad that they had to call an Ambulance and take him to the ER. The nurse practitioner didn’t check on him (not before, Not During and Not even after he returns from the ER) When he was stable he asked if he could go back home - as we will take better care of him - that is when he saw his Coach (that should have seen him Every day for at least an hour - Every Day ) for the second time. She asked few questions (that if she would have seen him as promised she would gave known the answers already) and signed off on his release He came back home after a week thinner (he Lost about 10lb while at the facilty where he should have gain strength and some weight) maintain the withdrawal, can’t sleep, sweating all night, Basically came back worse (he was ok when he took the drugs - he just wanted to stop - he worked, he socialized, basically living a full life while taking drugs) When writing about his experience he got a call Offering him 10 days at the facilty with full care at No Cost - he told them that he will never go back He wrote again and asked for his money back + Blood test costs + ER cost the response wasn’t late to come He got a phone call - on that call he spoke to a man who told him - not sure exactly who it was tho I think I know- not to write them, Not to call them - not sure for what - basically yelling over the phone trying to stop the already in motion train They probably doing ok getting Money from the States they are in as they have programs with the state court that ordered people to get clean in their facilty If you do care about your loved ones Make sure they don’t go anywhere near Lumiere Detox Center (at least not in Ohio)

Horrible place. Most unprofessional, unorganized, total lack of communication and lack of staff. You would think this place would have been figured out before it opened, to so call help alcholics and drug addicts. I highly disrecommend this place.

The intake process was very disorganized and very long. It takes three hours to get through the intake process, which makes it very difficult when you are coming in intoxicated. The beds are very small and uncomfortable, and they only have a couple private rooms available, which you would be required to pay around 400 additional each day to get one. The treatment lacks structure. The food is delicious, but they are very small portions, and they really aren't prepared to meet special diets, whether your diabetic, low cholesterol, low salt, etc. If your even lucky that that information gets passed to the chef.
