With multiple locations in Florida, including Fort Myers, Bradenton, and Sarasota, Operation PAR, Inc. offers a range of treatment services to individuals struggling with substance use disorder. Its facility in Clearwater provides outpatient programs to adults and adolescents, as well as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients battling opioid dependency. It's one of 73 non-hospital substance abuse treatment facilities in Florida (just 11 percent) to provide medically monitored detox.

Operation PAR's facility in Clearwater provides medication-assisted treatment via its Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program. In 2017, 19,548 individuals were receiving MAT in Florida, making up about 4.7 percent of individuals receiving MAT at a national level.

MAPS offers methadone maintenance (which is available in 22 percent of Florida outpatient facilities) and buprenorphine maintenance (which is available in 29 percent of Florida treatment facilities). In addition, Operation PAR provides specialized treatment for pregnant women, an option available in just 25 percent of facilities in the state.

Throughout treatment, clients receive physical examinations, laboratory workups, in-depth assessments, and individualized treatment plans. The outpatient program also follows evidence-based practices and provides regular counseling by trained staff. In addition, referrals are provided for continuing care.

Operation PAR's treatment team includes licensed technologists and a licensed supervisor. The one alum polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the facility two out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.

Nicole, the one former client surveyed by Rehabs.com to date, gave Operation Par mostly negative feedback, giving the facility just one or two out of five stars for its counseling options, its holistic offerings, its treatment of co-occurring disorders, and its staff's level of training and experience. She also noted that the treatment was not very intensive. "Need to go into positive self talk more and should be able to stay longer if detoxing from methadone especially since they have a clinic that provides it," she wrote.

The Clearwater facility fared better on Google, where it earned an average rating of 4.1 out of five stars based on 49 reviews[1]. The majority of former clients who left comments described it as a well-run treatment facility with caring, professional staff and effective programming. "My experience is that if you want to be clean and are willing to be honest PAR is a great resource for any type of addict. Also they're very discreet," wrote Jennifer in a representative review.

The sole loved one polled by Rehabs.com to date, an anonymous 40-to-59-year-old male, gave Operation Par positive feedback. He awarded the facility five out of five stars for its cleanliness, its counseling options, its treatment of co-occurring disorders, and its staff's level of training and experience. When asked, on a scale from one to five, if he would recommend the facility, the reviewer gave a rating of five.

Though information concerning the facility's cost and insurance policies are unclear, Operation Par acceptsMedicaid, which is accepted by 38 percent of substance abuse treatment facilities in Florida.

Constant classes makes you develop a routine, which was a strength. Need to go into positive self talk more and should be able to stay longer if detoxing from methadone especially since they have a clinic that provides it. It was really hard to get into detox here and was thrown on methadone which caused i totally different drug problem and when i first went in i was told i didn't have a problem then when i waited longer i was to bad and had to give on methadone. something was very wrong with that. I'm just happy i made it out alive and as to others i seen just thrown out on the street after receiving methadone for years i feel there could have been a better way of handling those situations like inpatient. It just seems kinda cold
