They occasionally let you go outside. They're a very unprofessional facility. They won't let you have friends or use pens.

no reason to be there, my head wound was not addressed, I was in horrible pain, I fell, hit my head and blacked out , and was taken there in a police wagon in hand cuffs in bare feet and no underwear, it was the most horrific experience ever, the beds like rocks,,pillows a joke, furnishings awful, floors filthy, bathroom filthy, I was given the wrong medication , and they refused to give me my prescribed meds, also was almost 2 days before I had a meal I could eat due to my digestive issues,,,it was HORRIBLE. A joke at best, no one 'listens' the group sessions are a joke, , there is no where to go exercise , you mostly have to stay in your room or in the activity room which is a dump, and after much complaining, they finally turned off the tv station that was constantly showing true crime shows.

My cousin needs long-term residential tx & she was only there 2 wks. I prefer a freestanding tx center, as opposed to a hospital setting.

Strengths: Accommodations were fair, meals were great. Weaknesses: Unable to go outside for a period of time. This facility was more for behavioral and mental problems than for substance abuse; however, many patients were abusing prescription drugs at some point.
