ABOUT PHOENIX HOUSE OCALA – PHOENIX HOUSE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM AT CITRA CENTER

Phoenix House operates treatment programs in different states focused on providing treatment for substance abuse. The program at Citra Center, Fla. offers residential treatment for adults struggling with substance abuse andco-occurring illnesses. Detox and crisis stabilization services are also available, on an as needed basis. Phoenix House Ocala is one of 73 (10.2 percent) of Florida facilities to offer detoxification services.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Every treatment program begins with an initial assessment to determine the appropriate services. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual to ensure effective treatment. Services for men and women are provided separate to facilitate better treatment options tailored to the needs of each gender. Clients needing crisis intervention or detox are admitted to those service programs prior to developing a long-term treatment plan.

Treatment includes case management services, different modes of therapy, skills training and education, family treatment assistance, and sober living support services. In addition, treatment may also include individual, group, and family therapy sessions using the 12-step methodology and evidence-based treatment options. Clients are encouraged to participate in multiple meetings to facilitate a stronger recovery.

As clients continue to build support networks in the community, educational and personal development services are available. Clients can get support in studying for their GEDs, learning about addiction, and developing life skills. These services help clients manage their treatment more effectively while helping them get on track for a successful recovery. The facility also offers family counseling and family education for those struggling with family problems related to their substance abuse.

Nearing the end of treatment, clients can participate in vocational training. Phoenix House also offers job placement services to help clients establish themselves after leaving the residential program.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Phoenix House staff members and programs are accredited by CARF and are licensed in their respective fields. The staff includes a range of medical and psychological specialists as well as therapy leaders and support staff members that are specially trained in working with substance abuse.

Strenghts are the long term program and its help with transitioning the clients back into society. Weaknesses: Food, staff turn over rates are very high. No treatment for those with serious mental issues in addition to addiction. The Phoenix House has the ability to save your life but you have to put your all into this program or you get nothing. The tc community is very effective.

On not let you shave and wash your clothes. they let a fall for people that there's nothing wrong for them. Weaknesses: they're nice to you when you first go in but after your dinner there.. the people there aren't the same they...don't need to be working like that
