According to the facility's website, providers at Renaissance ensure clients are cared for with the most ethical, up-to-date, and safe treatment methods possible. Stressing quality and individualized treatment plans, clinicians treat clients with medications containing buprenorphine, including Suboxone, Subutex, Bunavail, or Zubsolv. Designed to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal and help curb cravings, all four medication are FDA-approved to help treat opioid/opiate dependency.

As a means to help clients save time and money, Renaissance provides consultations through a telehealth delivery method which utilizes video-conferencing, email, and phone. This application is designed to work anywhere internet is available or on a mobile device, eliminating the need to commute to appointments. In-person consultations are also available, depending on the client’s location.

To address the underlying factors that may contribute to addictive behavior, clients are encouraged to attend individual and group counseling, as well as participate in self-help groups. If clients do not already have a regular addiction counselor, Renaissance can refer individuals to certified addiction counselors in their area. To participate in the program, clients are required to submit to monthly drug testing.

The process of treatment at Renaissance includes three basic steps. Clients first provide their information online and wait for a response, typically within 24 hours. Next, clients consult with a doctor via the program’s video-conferencing application. After the consultation is completed, clients are prescribed the appropriate medication, which can be picked up at their local pharmacy. Clients consult with a physician monthly.

According to their website, clients are partnered with physicians licensed to practice medicine in that client’s home state. Physicians require a valid waiver to prescribe medications containing buprenorphine.
