Please parents, do NOT send your child here. This place treats children like animals. I'm sure the 3.8 star review on Google is from staffers, because I doubt any child that's been forced to endure the emotional torture of Rimrock would ever give it more than one star. Let's put it this way, if there were hidden cameras in this place and people saw what goes on, it would be shut down in a heartbeat. Sadly, the options are limited for children under 17 for any kind of residential treatment. There are highly accredited facilities and for the price, you're better off sending them out of the area if you want quality treatment for your child. At the very least, send them to a place where they are treated with kindness and respect and positive reinforcement. Not this place, where they are treated like slaves, are barely allowed to speak, must shower with five other guys in one small shower with a staffer that stands there and watches them - yeah, creepy! A "time-out" room that was literally a small closet and had scratches on the door and dents in the walls, like kids were locked in and desperate to get out! I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, if you really want to help your child, do NOT send them to Rimrock Trails in Prineville, Oregon!
