My son came here after Dove Tree who we have the highest regard for given our experience with the facility, staff and program. Stages was recommended given cost considerations in comparison to their own Sober Living program/facility. Our hopes were high that they may provide the guidance, mentorship and tools to allow him to a better path of life. Our bottom line is that they evicted him for missing meetings. We now have in a day, an 18yr old set out with no money, no family, no car, 3 states away from us, no job due to Covid-19 all during a pandemic situation and 2-days after we paid the monthly rent/fees (they kept our money). This became another crisis situation for us and have to believe there is better management practices that deal with challenging situations. Assuming that is a moniker for helping their residents as well-overcoming challenges. In addition after months of being there, recently barraged with insurance co-pay bills without warning billing many thousands of dollars to our insurance company for testing. Two sides to every story and we get this. However current decision making by ownership/management during a pandemic put us all in harms way.
