We pride ourselves in an scientifically based and proven approach to treating addiction and healing the underlying issues that come along with it. We use a combined DBT and 12 Step approach that is individualized for each client's needs. Our evidence based, clinically driven approach to addiction focuses on treating the entire person; mind, body and spirit. Helping our clients heal is our purpose and passion. We take a multi-pronged approach to treating addiction. Incorporating traditional medicine, therapy, meditation, health and nutrition and scientific research, we are able to focus on the person as a whole. At Steps Recovery Centers we know addiction affects not only the person struggling but the entire family system and personal support system for the individual as well. That is why our program encompasses the entire support system; from family education groups, group family therapy, individual family therapy, couples therapy and parenting skill classes. We do our best to help each of our clients achieve and maintain their individual and interpersonal goals.
Steps Recovery Center believes in treating not only the addiction but the underlying root cause issues. We take a very unique and individualized approach while treating each of our clients. Our mission is to help our clients identify and overcome the root causes of their addiction, whether it is mental health, trauma, PTSD or stress.
Steps Recovery Centers believes in the effectiveness of offering a full continuum of care. We offer Detox, Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, General Outpatient and Aftercare services.Statistically, a person's chances of long term sobriety increases when they build a foundation of recovery through a gradual step down and intensity of care. For some clients, because of their home, family and work obligations, residential treatment is all they can take time away from their lives for. We have an intensive residential program in Draper called Annie’s House that can be tailored for professionals so they can return to their home lives with all of the tools needed for a lasting and full recovery.

He has spoken locally, nationally and soon internationally on the subject. It also led to working with alcoholics and addicts and becoming an Addiction Medicine specialist. He is board certified in Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and board eligible in Addiction Medicine.
