The Coleman Institute of Richmond, Va. is a “rapid detox program” dedicated to helping people facing addictions to opioids, methadone, prescription drugs, alcohol, and more for over 10 years. The Coleman Institute has methadone maintenance facilities all across the country; this one in Richmond is one of just 69 (30.9 percent) of Virginia treatment centers that offer methadone maintenance.


The Coleman Institute of Richmond is one of just 74 (33.2 percent) of facilities statewide that offers Naltrexone therapy; it is one of 80 (35.9 percent) that offers Suboxone.


The Richmond office is owned and run by its founder, a medical doctor. The center also has three nurse practitioners and an admissions coordinator.


The sole survey respondent to date, alum Rob, gave eight out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly he’d recommend the program to others an “Everyone was wonderful,” the alum wrote.

The Coleman Institute of Richmond also has an excellent rating of 4.2 out of five stars from 30 Google reviewers to date, many describing the staff as friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned. “They are truly an amazing group of people who truly care about a person and heir recovery,” wrote five-star reviewer Gloria in a representative statement.[1]

Everyone was wonderful. The Flumazenil treatment for Benzo detox did not work immediately. It may have taken a few months to reduce symptoms and provide some relief
