From a suite in a modern building in Los Angeles’s exclusive Beverly Hills neighborhood, The Control Center offers outpatient treatment for substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. The facility also provides ambulatory medical detox, which is a service available in just 15.8 percent of outpatient treatment facilities in California.

Outpatient programs at The Control Center are offered in two intensities. There's a day treatment program (also known as partial hospitalization PHP) that meets for five hours a day, five days a week, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which meets three hours a day, three days a week. The Control Center is among the 18.5 percent of outpatient facilities in California to offer a PHP and among the 39.4 percent of outpatient facilities in the state to offer an IOP.

Both programs vary in length, but typically last between one and six months. Evidence-based treatment modalities include group, individual, and family therapy, along with psychiatric services, medication management, neuropsychological testing, and regular drug testing.

Special treatment tracks include an Executive Program and a program for clients with chronic pain. The facility also offers unlimited aftercare support.

Medical detox is overseen by a team of UCLA physicians, and the staff includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, licensed therapists, certified addictions treatment counselors, and licensed clinical social workers.

Nasimeh, a doctor who worked in the Santa Monica area, gave the facility a five-star rating on Yelp. She commented: “I've referred patients to The Control Center for over 3 years now. They embody the true meaning of healing, holistic, effective, and compassionate. A truly unique place, and I am so glad we can rely on their expertise to help some of our most vulnerable patients.”
