Treatment Center Setting
Transformations Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center Philosophy
Transformations Treatment Center offers men and women a safe and comfortable home-like environment for alcohol and drug addiction treatment. All programs at Transformations Treatment Center are client-focused and dedicated to helping individuals build a solid foundation for lifelong sobriety. The comprehensive, compassionate and unique treatment helps build a foundation for a healthy recovery and sober future. All programs have a low ratio of clients to staff from licensed mental health counselors to master-level therapists.
Areas of Specialization
The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
Studies have shown that those who choose a faith-based approach to recovery are more likely to avoid relapse and stay sober. Licensed, certified or master-level Christian therapists weave religious principles into the sessions, with activities such as Celebrate Recovery, baptisms and church services. This program will give you the tools to aid you in re-establishing your relationship with God that may have been neglected during your addiction.
Veterans/First Responders Program
A specialized treatment program that has been very successful in helping first responders battle their addictions and win. It is designed to treat co-occurring diagnoses including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders and depression. Those interested in this program are first placed in the Adult or Young Adult Program, then provided with the unique services specific to the needs of first responders. Participants may choose a 12-step traditional program or a 12-step Christian program.
SoundPath Music Therapy
Expressing emotions through music allows clients to learn more about themselves, helps them understand the reasons for their addictions and provides an activity to engage their mind and help with with recovery and therapy. Creating rap music, spoken word poetry, writing and recording songs as well as performing are all activities that can be engaged in at our on-site music studio.
Family Outreach Services
In our effort to further address drug and alcohol addiction we recognize the importance of engaging family members. We understand the need to meet families where they are at in the treatment and recovery process and help them with their individual situation.
The love, compassion and support I found through their Christian drug rehab clinic was something I had never experienced before. I found that through Biblical teachings, church sessions and pray groups, I was able to fight back and be strong.
Once I entered the facility, the staff, counselors and therapists treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. I was given the help and support I needed to successfully deal with my alcohol addiction. Group prayer meetings and church sessions gave me something to look forward to as I battled back from the brink of destruction.
Thank you Transformations, you transformed a life that was lost and taught me the true meaning of being thankful for everything I have, I owe you more than you could ever know.
Once I came through the doors of Transformations drug treatment center, I knew I had made the right decision in seeking rehab. I had to take back control of my own life and with your help; I was able to do that.
Once I entered Transformations, I came to realize how close I came to losing everything and I knew I had to beat my addiction no matter what. I was scared and ashamed...
