ABOUT TUCSON ALCOHOLIC RECOVERY HOME

Founded in 1961 and located in Tucson, Ariz., Tucson Alcoholic Recovery Home is a halfway house that offers assistance to men who are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Tucson Alcoholic Recovery Home's website notes individuals must be detoxed before entering the sober living house. Men are typically referred to the program by an agency or hospital.

When men are brought into the home, residents receive and orientation of the house rules along with a guided tour of the house. Men are asked to make a full commitment to the program.

The sober house offers resource such as a 12-step recovery program. Residents are expected to find employment while living in the house. Residents are able to stay in the home for as long as they need.

According to the facility's website, residents must adhere to the following statement: "I would like to be a part of the TARH community and have the opportunity to work toward the goal of successful independent living. Consequently, as a condition of my residency at TARH, I agree to fulfill all of my responsibilities and duties asked of me. Failure to do so will result in immediate eviction."
