ABOUT VICTORY CLINICAL SERVICES

Victory Clinical Services (VCS) is a state-licensed medication-assisted treatment program with locations in South Bend, Ind., and Kalamazoo, Jackson, Saginaw, and Lansing, Mich.

One of just 74 (24.3 percent) of methadone maintenance facilities statewide, VCS of South Bend provides methadone, buprenorphine, and Vivitrol in combination with addiction counseling and education, seven days a week

The hours of operation at the clinic are as follows: weekdays, from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., on Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on Sunday, from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment at Victory Clinical Services in South Bend is individualized and incorporates the harm reduction model to meet each client's needs and circumstances.

In addition to its individual and group counseling and training in relapse prevention and life skills, VCS makes use of motivational interviewing, case management, and referrals for needed health and social services. A specialized, coordinated treatment for pregnant women is also available here.

The facility is one of just 65 (21.3 percent) of programs statewide that offers testing for HIV/HCV as well as one of 193 (63.3 percent) that makes use of breathalyzer testings.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

According to the facility’s website, VCS medical professionals have nearly 30 years of experience in administering medication-assisted treatment to clients.

VCS is also one of only 84 (27.5 percent) of programs statewide with CARF accreditation.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Feedback from the sole former alum of VCS Victory Clinics to respond to a Rehabs.com poll is overwhelmingly positive. Though she sometimes found the center itself “too crowded,” alum Laura described the program staff as helpful and attentive. In her Rehabs.com survey, she gave five out of five stars for the effectiveness treatment, the counseling options, and the staff’s level of training and experience.

On Google, where 38 individuals shared mostly favorable perspectives, several highlighted the the effectiveness of programming. “It help save my life and feel like I was a normal person again,” wrote J.P. in one representative five-star review. “Always courteous and caring,” added four-star reviewer Erica.[1]

FINANCING
