Discovery Point Retreat

Discovery Point was nothing short of a life changing experience. These are truly a group of people who genuinely care about your Recovery. The friends I made while during my stay I still talk to daily and we support each other and have friendships that will last forever. The food is really good so hats off to the chefs! The house is really comfortable and always clean. I truly was able to find myself because I was lost and broken but now I am centered and sober and taking big steps in life! I highly recommend this spot if you want to help yourself and start recovering. Thank you Discovery Point for changing my life. I love you guys!

Researching Boise Recovery Facilities
As the capital city of Idaho, Boise is a center of culture and education, boasting the state’s largest public university as well as five high schools and nine junior high schools. But even in this culturally rich, family-oriented city, the need for Boise drug rehab for teenagers is on the rise. Helping teenagers stay clean and sober has become the focus of community-wide concern in Idaho.

If your teenager is at risk of developing a problem with substance abuse, early prevention may be the key to keeping your son or daughter on the right track.

The Need for Being Admitted Into a Rehabilitation Clinic

Many parents are afraid of the effects of illegal drug use, but in fact, alcohol is the most widely abused drug among Idaho teenagers, according to the public service organization Idaho Kids Count. Even teens who appear to have everything going for them — good grades, social popularity and a loving family — may experiment with alcohol and eventually develop a drinking problem.

Warning Signs of Teenage Substance Abuse

Talking to teens about alcohol and drug abuse keeps the line of communication open and establishes trust between parents and children. But how can you tell when your teenager needs more than just a talk?

Your teenager may need Boise alcohol rehab if he or she:
  • Suddenly loses interest in school, sports or clubs
  • Shows a decline in academic performance
  • Drops old friends in favor of new ones
  • Doesn’t want to introduce you to her new friends
  • Stays out late at night and sleeps late in the morning
  • Gets violent or abusive to other family members
  • Can’t stop drinking on her own

Teens are at a crucial stage in their mental and physical development. If your son or daughter shows signs of drug or alcohol abuse, seeking help from a Boise treatment center that specializes in adolescent rehab may help her avoid the chronic disease, cognitive problems and accidental injuries associated with alcoholism.

Seek Treatment Services in Boise

Boise addiction treatment programs for teens focus on the psychological, social and developmental issues that are unique to this age group. Teenagers need rehab services that address their roles in the family as well as their roles at school and among their peers.

To ensure that your child has access to comprehensive, multi-disciplinary addiction resources, call the toll-free number for referrals to high-quality facilities in Boise.
