They have a wide assortment of fitness classes, kind and compassionate staff, fair visitation policies and telephone call opportunities. Could be better staffed, while my loved one was cared for well enough, they could have used more employees on shift. The staff was patient and caring while dealing with our loved one.
Excellent counselors with 15+ years experience. Outpatient programs only Has good outpatient program and after care.

More InformationComparing Chesterfield Rehab Programs Chesterfield drug rehab centers fulfill a vital role within the community by offering help to people who suffer from addiction problems. Drugs and alcohol addictions tend to have a ripple effect that causes other people - even people outside our social circles - to suffer the consequences. Getting the care you need not only helps to make your life better, but also the lives of others. When to Call for Professional Treatment A 2011 news report posted on the Office of Missouri Governor website describes how people in rural areas experience significant financial losses as a result of the drug activity taking place in cities. This domino effect is not unlike what happens to a person's relationships and work life when addiction starts to take over a person's life.
If you notice friendships or a marriage relationship coming apart at the seams in your life or someone else's life, drugs may be a contributing factor. At this point, may be time to consider getting professional help.Effects of Drug Addiction on Children
The effects of alcohol and drug addiction in children's live can be especially devastating considering parents are the most important role models in a child's life. Information gathered by the Child Welfare League of America provides a glimpse into how a child's life is affected when parental substance abuse is an issue:
- Between 40 and 80 percent of families involved in the child welfare systems are affected by substance abuse problems.
- Child abuse and child neglect are the most commonly reported cases where substance abuse is involved.
- A reported 46.1 percent of foster care homes were affected by substance abuse issues.
- About 85 percent of states in the country report substance abuse problems as a primary issue within family-child welfare cases
For many people, recovering from drug addiction is a life-long process that requires them to maintain their resolve to live a drug-free life. Many treatment programs offer aftercare or referral services to 12-step program groups in the area. When researching Chesterfield treatment centers, look for programs that include some form of aftercare to ensure you have supports in place once you complete the drug treatment program.
