Discovery Point Retreat

Activities, therapies, 12 step treatment, recreational therapy and great food. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you to everyone for helping me get through this time!

Adventist Health - Unity Center for Behavioral Health

They charge thousands for basic care. Unnecessary. I completed my treatment, then attended outpatient therapy.
3.9 out of 5

Bellevue Health & Rehabilitation Center

They have a wide assortment of fitness classes, kind and compassionate staff, fair visitation policies and telephone call opportunities. Could be better staffed, while my loved one was cared for well enough, they could have used more employees on shift. The staff was patient and caring while dealing with our loved one.

William Nevadomski

Co-Founder Harmony Recovery Center

After a long battle with addiction to opiates and prescription drugs during his teenage years and early 20s, William went through state-funded treatment programs. After two episodes of treatment, he started living a clean life in February 2014, helped by the NA community and his desire and willingness to follow a program and change his life. William began working in the treatment field as a house manager for a sober living home. This allowed him to start to fulfill what he sees as his destiny, helping others in any way he could through their struggles that he went through himself and overcame. His journey continued, and through his compassion, ethical standards and care for the needy, he evolved in the field and earned the opportunity to grow through a position in the admissions department at White Sands Treatment Center. He maintained this position for over a year. Another opportunity came his way when Delphi Health Group offered him a position in the admissions department, which he took and evolved in for over a year, after which he joined the team at Harmony Recovery Center's sister-facility Recovery In Tune in Florida. After working in the admissions department for Recovery In Tune for over a year, William transitioned to the Harmony Recovery Group team as Business Development Director and Co-Founded Harmony Recovery Center. William has become a vital part of the program, using his personal and professional experience and knowledge to help and guide those in the program and educate the community about the program.

Exploring Clovis Recovery Centers A person can become addicted to a legally prescribed drug just as easily as with a street drug. Clovis residents can find drug rehab programs that are experienced in working through different types of addiction problems and personal circumstances.

Exploring available treatment options in your area can make it easier to decide when and where to get help with an addiction issue.

Getting Help for All Co-Occurring Conditions

According to the Clovis News Journal, the lack of mental health treatment providers remains an ongoing problem in Clovis. This is unfortunate as many people who experience addiction or withdrawal symptoms may actually be experiencing symptoms of a mental disorder. The effects of ongoing drug use on a mental condition can actually worsen the symptoms associated with a mental disorder. So it's important to get treatment for any existing mental conditions, such as depression or anxiety, when seeking help for a drug or alcohol problem.

Effects of Drug Addiction on Children

While no one intends for children to be affected by drug abuse, children of parents struggling with addiction problems are no doubt affected. According to the Child Welfare League of America, rates of drug abuse among children are as follows:

  • As of 2006, 23.6 million children aged 12 or older suffered from drug abuse problems.
  • Only 2.5 million of those affected actually received drug treatment help.
  • Addiction problems are present in nearly 80 percent of all families involved in the child welfare system.
  • Children affected by parental addiction problems are more likely to be placed in foster care
