They charge thousands for basic care. Unnecessary. I completed my treatment, then attended outpatient therapy.

Patel Ranjan PSY.D- MFT

Been doing telemedicine with her for a while, and due to finances, I wanted very short term therapy and though I tried to pin her down on how many sessions I'd need, she refused to give me that, which looking back, I understand. Lucky for me, I was in and out in eight visits, which my work covered partially. I was initially on the fence about seeing her because of her fee (she's more expensive than the other therapist I checked with), but I went with my gut because when I talked to her over the phone, she not only took her time and spent as long as I needed, for free, but she actively told me that she encouraged me to reach out to other therapists so I wouldn't haveI've to pay more than I'm comfortable with, she gave me some referrals. But I decided to see her and it's been worth it; she gives assignments and structure because I asked for it, and also talked to my psychiatrist, which helped me feel like I have a team.

Researching Fairborn Rehab Facilities
Drug and alcohol addictions affect people in all walks of life in Fairborn. Thankfully, drug rehab programs are designed to meet a person where they’re at in the addiction cycle and help them regain control of their lives. Researching your treatment options can be first step you take towards dealing with addiction in your life.
Getting Help for All Co-Occurring Issues
Anyone with a family history of depression, anxiety or any other type of mental issue may be more susceptible to drug or alcohol addiction. Interestingly enough, someone who has used drugs over a long period of time is more prone to developing a mental illness.

In effect, treating a drug addiction while a mental issue remains untreated makes it more likely that a person will relapse when symptoms like depression, anxiety or hyperactivity start to flare up.

Treatment Program Lengths

For many people, recovering from an addiction is a long-term process where ongoing support and guidance is needed. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the length of time a person spends in a treatment program can greatly affect how effective the treatment will be. Treatment facilities should include the following program steps to ensure a person receives needed care:

  • Program monitoring tools to measure a person’s progress along the way
  • Built-in measures to treat relapse episodes during the treatment process
  • Address the type and severity of a person’s addiction problem
  • A three-month minimum stay as the core treatment program requirement

Comparing Rehabilitation Services in Fairborn

Drug rehabilitation can take many forms, depending on a person’s individual treatment needs. Residential services are available for people who have a long history of drug use, while outpatient services are for those with less severe addictions or life responsibilities they can’t leave.

Drug treatment programs provide individualized services that address the types of issues a person is dealing with in their recovery process.
