Latest Reviews of Rehabs in Independence, MO
They have a wide assortment of fitness classes, kind and compassionate staff, fair visitation policies and telephone call opportunities. Could be better staffed, while my loved one was cared for well enough, they could have used more employees on shift. The staff was patient and caring while dealing with our loved one.
They Accomadated every need for My Son from Day he made his decision to seek help. He flew to Texas and was picked up at the airport by staff. I was allowed to see him the very next day, visitation were just about over but they let us have a visit anyways. Rooms are spacious and may not be a facility as someone stated but the House is Large, spacious, clean, and just has that home, secure, quiet, inviting feel. The are is perfect quiet and serene. Therapy and couseling on site my son loved everything about the way the had control of everything that was in his best interest. The staff, The Chef, The People i always knew how his progress was coming along and even included in therapy sessions. My son understand about addiction, the triggers, the control and the reason and maintains his sobriety, contact with others that were also in treatment with him, He considers all of them as family. Everyone there made him feel so comfortable, important and loved. At check out it took us all day for him to get everything together because he was truly going to miss Everything and Everyone, ( The Food) The outings, The Therapy, The couseling . The Owners, Management, The Staff I commend on The excellent job they are doing The are all Truly a Blessing. Strengths: Their knowledge in all areas of helping everyone. Knowing exactly what each persons individual needs are from The addiction ,the emotional, therapeutic, dietary. Weakness: Sober Living facility. I think my son was probably sent to the worst one. Was told he had to have a job within 2 weeks or going to be kicked out while another individual was there before him, still there and still unemployed. My son working 3rd shift going to sleep at 6 a.m. was woken up anyways for meditation at 7 even though he just worked at 12 hour shifts ( inconsiderate) people were eating his groceries. And managers of the house had dogs and dog hair everywhere and were offended that he mention about the dogs being all over furniture. Cardinal House of Dalls/Garland definitely Not recommended and was really in awe that Discovery Point Retreat would even be affiliated with a place like that. That would be the only negative on them with me.
holistic approach which also addresses areas outside of addictions. old building. Great non-profit organization for people who have few options.

Contact us at the phone number listed above and find out the information you need to get started.A Guide to Going to a Rehabilitation Facility
According to the White House Missouri Drug Control Update, the number of meth lab seizures in Missouri increased by 37 percent between 2007 and 2009. In 2007, 1,261 labs were raided by law enforcement. Only two years later, that number had increased to 1,732 raids. It's a serious problem for all Missouri residents. In addition to increasing the supply of crystal meth to addicts in the area, it also creates a number of other dangers for people in the community, including:
- Toxic waste in the groundwater
- Toxic waste dumped near the lab
- Danger of explosions and fires
- Toxic fumes released into the atmosphere
When a meth lab is seized by law enforcement, a cleanup ensues that requires workers to wear hazmat suits and use the utmost of precaution to protect themselves from inhaling or touching the chemicals used to make the drug. If that much precaution is taken in the cleanup of a meth lab, imagine the amount of harm done to the body when one exposes themselves to the drug day in and day out throughout the course of regular abuse or addiction to the drug.Comparing Rehabilitation Centers in Independence
