Rose Rock Recovery Center

Strengths: Focus on source of problems and not the negative coping mechanisms we were abusing. Specifically focused on woman's issues. Weaknesses: No sugar or pop.It is a long term 3-6 month program where you and your fellow clients will work together to help and keep each other accountable. The facilitators and counselors are genuine honest woman who are in recovery themselves and truly care about helping.

They charge thousands for basic care. Unnecessary. I completed my treatment, then attended outpatient therapy.

This passion prompted Kevin to begin a career studying and understanding the various techniques in which to approach and treat patients with drug dependence. Through his many opportunities working in health care, Kevin has developed the understanding that addiction is a disease that needs to be treated with time, care, and understanding. As a member of long-term recovery himself, Kevin is able to promote the values of honesty and integrity in his daily practice.

Guide to Lake Elsinore Rehabilitation Centers
Southern California, with its proximity to Mexican drug cartels, is a prominent area for drug trafficking and meth labs. This is also true for Lake Elsinore, a town in Riverside County situated around a lake. Underneath the beauty of this town lies drug manufacturing and abuse. In November 2011, four arrests were made there in connection with a meth lab. Meth labs in California are on the rise because the main ingredient in meth, pseudoephedrine, is found in cold and allergy medicines, making it easy to obtain.

Despite the prevalence of meth in Lake Elsinore, there are ways to lead a clean and sober life.

Types of Rehab Approaches

Individual counseling is an important part of the recovery process.

Counseling helps therapists determine the factors that contribute to the patient’s drug or alcohol problem. It is impossible to treat the person without knowing why they resorted to substance abuse in the first place. Counseling also serves to instill a sense of confidence in the patient. Being admitted to rehab may make the patient feel as though they have failed. Counselors help boost patients’ confidence and make them feel less inhibited, so they feel freer to discuss their problems.

Types of Recovery Groups

Many people struggling to fight their addiction to drugs or alcohol thrive in groups of people who share similar struggles and experiences. Here are some common ones:

  • Early recovery groups
  • Relapse prevention groups
  • Advanced recovery groups
  • Couples therapy
  • Family therapy
