Patel Ranjan PSY.D- MFT

Been doing telemedicine with her for a while, and due to finances, I wanted very short term therapy and though I tried to pin her down on how many sessions I'd need, she refused to give me that, which looking back, I understand. Lucky for me, I was in and out in eight visits, which my work covered partially. I was initially on the fence about seeing her because of her fee (she's more expensive than the other therapist I checked with), but I went with my gut because when I talked to her over the phone, she not only took her time and spent as long as I needed, for free, but she actively told me that she encouraged me to reach out to other therapists so I wouldn't haveI've to pay more than I'm comfortable with, she gave me some referrals. But I decided to see her and it's been worth it; she gives assignments and structure because I asked for it, and also talked to my psychiatrist, which helped me feel like I have a team.

Compare Lawton Rehabilitation Centers
Lawton, Oklahoma has a unique demographic makeup, including young families, retirees and a large Native American population. With this diverse population and rising crime rates, the need for excellent drug rehab in Lawton is immediate.

If you need assistance on your road to recovery, help is just around the corner.

Oklahoma recognizes the need for specialized treatment, and operates the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) to counter drug and alcohol addiction in the state, providing education programs, rehab services, and individualized care for specific cultures, including the Native American and Hispanic communities.Tips for Enrolling Into a Rehab Center

There are several places to start when looking for the best addiction treatment available. These can include contacting your primary care provider, being honest about your condition, and asking for help. The state of Oklahoma offers specific clinics that are operated by the government; however, it may be difficult to decide on a specific program that would work best for your circumstances, particularly since many government-run programs are overcrowded. In this case, we can connect you with an empathetic and experienced specialist who can assist you in finding the best program for your specific addiction.

Do I Have More Than One Issue?

Often, those with addiction are battling multiple issues at the same time, including:

  • Bipolar disorder
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • ADHD
  • Personality disorders

A qualified, experienced therapist and clinic will be able to treat the whole patient and not just the addiction. A dual diagnosis can complicate an ongoing addiction, as it can increase the likelihood of relapse and self-medication by the patient. A Lawton treatment center experienced in treating those with a dual diagnosis is essential to long-term sobriety.
