They charge thousands for basic care. Unnecessary. I completed my treatment, then attended outpatient therapy.

Patel Ranjan PSY.D- MFT

Been doing telemedicine with her for a while, and due to finances, I wanted very short term therapy and though I tried to pin her down on how many sessions I'd need, she refused to give me that, which looking back, I understand. Lucky for me, I was in and out in eight visits, which my work covered partially. I was initially on the fence about seeing her because of her fee (she's more expensive than the other therapist I checked with), but I went with my gut because when I talked to her over the phone, she not only took her time and spent as long as I needed, for free, but she actively told me that she encouraged me to reach out to other therapists so I wouldn't haveI've to pay more than I'm comfortable with, she gave me some referrals. But I decided to see her and it's been worth it; she gives assignments and structure because I asked for it, and also talked to my psychiatrist, which helped me feel like I have a team.

Locating Lincoln Rehab Facilities
Of all of the people who need help from Lincoln drug rehab centers, few choose to accept assistance. Instead, they move forward with their addictions with the mistaken belief that their substance abuse issues will go away on their own. Unfortunately, addictions rarely resolve in such a spontaneous manner. Instead, you’ll need to do a significant amount of hard work in order to heal.

Rehab facilities can make that work a little easier for you to complete.

The Need for Going to Rehabilitation

Most adults are unaccustomed to admitting that they don’t have their affairs under tight control. After all, most adults are conditioned to believe that grownups handle all of their own problems without needing the help of other people. The culture of John Wayne and other loners can keep you from feeling like asking for help is both acceptable and helpful when you’re in need. Rehab facilities might help you to break down this resistance and learn why you simply might not be able to deal with an addiction on your own. Through therapy, you’ll learn:

  • How brain chemistry underlies addiction
  • Why changing habits can be so difficult
  • How your friends can reinforce, or extinguish, your urge to use
  • Why your mind can be your best ally in the fight against use

What Does Therapy Mean?

Addiction rehab programs are built on the foundation of therapy. You’ll be paired with a trained expert who knows all about addictions, including how they form and how they can be handled. The therapist will be your partner and your guide, helping you to learn and grow. Together, you’ll come up with a series of tools you can use to beat your addiction and help you to live a sober lifestyle.

Compare Rehab Programs in Lincoln

Lincoln drug rehab programs sometimes provide treatments for only specific types of addiction. Some programs, for example, provide care only for crack cocaine addictions, of which Lincoln has a large number, according to the National Drug Intelligence Center. Other programs might provide care specifically for people who are addicted to alcohol or heroin.

There are many other ways to differentiate the care provided by Lincoln rehab programs, including cost, distance from your home or the age of people who are typically enrolled in the program.
