Dr. O’Flaherty was recently the Vice President of Treatment Services at the Betty Ford Center. She is a Certified Trainer for Critical Incident Crisis Debriefing Programs. She developed and implemented Crisis Response Programs for TWA, and has facilitated the training of Crisis Response Teams for several airlines, as well as Critical Incident Response training for the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. Johanna O’Flaherty’s doctorate in clinical psychology is from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is a Nationally Certified Addiction Specialist (Advanced Level) and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Dr. O’Flaherty was called to New York to assist with counseling airline employees and to facilitate Crisis Response training for the New York City Transit Authority.
