Sobriety House, Inc.

They let me work day labor on the weekends. I have been Clean & Sober for 25 years. They had a 3/4 house where I could rent an apartment and had a meeting there once a week for my aftercare treatment. I have been sober since leaving the program. The program taught me that there was another way of life that included Prayer and Meditation. 1 of my counselors taught me how to meditate and how to grow Spiritually. I had to get rid of my old ideas about what I thought about Religion and to choose a God that I wanted in my life.

Locate Reno Recovery Centers People who are addicted often report that their friends and family members only want to talk about their substance use and abuse. Your family, for example, might spend a significant amount of time talking to you about the benefits of entering a Reno drug rehab program. While these conversations might be upsetting, and it's likely that you're very tired of discussing the issue, it's important to note that your family may be on to something. In rehab you really can change your life, and it's likely your family just wants what is best for you.The Need for Enrolling Into a Rehabilitation Center

You probably know that rehab programs can help you learn how to stop taking drugs. You may not know, however, that these programs could also help you feel much better about other aspects of your life. For example, researchers writing in the journal Substance Use and Misuse interviewed people two months after they had entered a treatment program for heroin addiction. The researchers found that these people spent more time with their families, attended to their homes and changed other aspects of their lives in positive directions since they entered therapy. Since their treatment was not yet complete, it's hard to know how much more they might be able to accomplish at the end of their treatment program. The same could happen to you.

Larry's Story

"My family had been pestering me for months to stop using, and I would get so mad at the end of these talks that all I could do was just scream and lash out. Even though it was hard, my family kept after me, and one day, it just sort of hit me that they kept talking to me because they were worried. I finally decided to listen."

Getting Recovery Programs in Reno

As you start your search, you'll be able to differentiate one program in Reno from another based on a variety of factors, including:

  • Cost
  • Population served
  • Types of addictions treated
  • Alternate therapies provided

While all of these factors might be useful to you as you search, they can also be a little intimidating to keep track of, and it might be hard for you to determine what attribute will be most important in your decision.

We can help. Our experts will ask you a few questions about your addiction and then match you with the right program in or near Reno to meet your needs. Please call us today to get started.
