Discovery Point Retreat

This was the first rehab that I went to and I am glad to say that this will probably be my last. It was great that this facility had detox and all the other levels of care since many of my friends had to go to 2 separate places. It was really a comfortable and enjoyable place to be at.

Finding the right treatment program for you or for someone you love is the first step towards a healthy and gratifying life.
What to Expect at Rehabilitation
Like any new experience, the thought of entering a drug rehabilitation program may seem overwhelming at first. Meeting new people, dealing with long-buried issues in your life and going through all of this without drugs seem like a lot to handle. Remember why you’re considering getting help and the change it will make in your life.

Treatment programs are designed to be supportive and nurturing environments that give you the space and time needed to create a stable, happy and productive lifestyle that’s free of drugs.

Symptoms of Drug Dependence

Over time, the body and brain become dependent on the effects of a drug when it’s consumed on a regular basis. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, symptoms of drug dependence to watch out for include:

  • Withdrawal effects, such as tremors, irritability and nausea when drugs are not available
  • Not being able to stop using a drug
  • Repeated drug use in the face of negative consequences
  • Problems at work or in relationships with friends and family
  • Needing more of a drug to get the same “high” effects

Seek Recovery Services in Roy

Utah may not have to contend with the hustle and bustle characteristic of large metropolitan areas, but drug trafficking activities are alive and well. According to the Standard-Examiner News, law enforcement officials recovered nearly $600,000 worth of narcotics in the Ogden and Salt Lake areas. Ongoing drug activities will continue, but getting the help you need can put a stop to drug activity in your life.

Roy drug treatment programs offer you options for living a life free of drugs.
