Clinical Program Manager/Primary Therapist Recovery Institute of Ohio

My name is Jessica Kitchin and I am currently the Clinical Program Manager/Primary Therapist at Recovery Institute of Ohio. In August of 2018, I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Addiction Counseling. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Obtaining these degrees and progressing in my life was always part of my plan as a child; however, when I started drinking regularly by the age of 12 and using drugs at the age of 16, I didn’t think my life was going to end up the way it has. Even though I attended college for education, I found myself drinking and heavily using drugs, until I dropped out with one semester left. My addiction completely controlled my life.

The city of Sammamish was nominated as one of the 10 Best Places to Live by CNNMoney in 2011. But even in prosperous Seattle suburbs like this one, Sammamish drug rehab facilities are a necessary presence in the community. Whether you end up choosing a private pay residential facility or a state-funded outpatient treatment center, seeking help for your addiction is the most important step in your recovery process.
What’s Different About Inpatient and Outpatient Programs?
For residents of Sammamish who are financially secure or who have health insurance, paying for rehab may not be a great concern. However, even the wealthy may have financial problems when they’re recovering from an addiction to cocaine, heroin or alcohol. Outpatient rehabilitation services are usually more affordable than residential treatment. At an outpatient center, clients can return to their homes or to sober houses after receiving counseling or medication therapy. At a hospital program or inpatient rehab facility, you must also consider costs such as:

  • Room and board
  • 24-hour monitoring by clinical personnel
  • Medications and medical supplies
  • Maintenance services like laundry and housekeeping
