Kennedy has a wide range of experience within HSC and has worked as an activity therapist in a day treatment program, live-in manager at a residential facility, direct service provider and then supervisor of a community-based crisis program for youth, and then as a prevention specialist for adolescents. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in special education.
