One of the clues that your loved one needs professional help is that they neglect to eat. Your body needs proper nutrients to give you energy to survive. When one becomes addicted to drugs, they may only think about drugs for survival. They often do not care about basic needs, such maintaining a well-balanced diet. They only worry about their drug use and because drug use can cause stomachaches, nausea and vomiting, they may not feel like eating.
